It comes with a foot plate (base plate), which is adjustable up to a 45-degree angle. Miter cuts with this saw are a snap. (The base plate is marked in 15-degree increments.) This mini jigsaw comes with a rip fence (Also called a parallel stop or guide fence.), adjustable to 4 1/2", ensuring perfectly straight parallel cuts.

The Proxxon Microflame burner, a miniature blow torch, is used for burning, soldering, brazing, and related tasks. Air and fuel mixtures are independently controlled, allowing for precise adjustment of the flame. The Microflam MFB/E has an electronic ignition (piezo crystal lighter). Maximum temperature is 2,370 degrees fahrenheit (1,300 degrees Celsius). This mini burner has a 50 cc fuel tank which, on average, will provide two hours of use. The fuel cell is filled with standard butane cartridges . Note: Fuel is not included with the MicroFlam. Turtle Feathers does not stock butane.

We also stock the Profiled Sharpening Stone, which is especially made for sharpening Proxxon SGM carving bits. The sharpening stone features pre-shaped profiles. Simply select the appropriate profile for any carving bit needing sharpening. That profile will easily, and correctly, sharpen each bit, whether it be a U, V, or Flat. The importance of using a quality, reliable stone for blade maintenance cannot be overstated.
This is a five piece carving bit set. The bits are made of laminated steel, and includes a V bit, large and small U gouges, as well as two flat bits, one having a straight edge and the another a rounded cutting edge.
