A diameter of only 1 3/8" and a weight of 1/2 pound make the rotary tool very easy to handle. The permanent magnet motor, ground spindle, and collar bearing all contribute to low vibration and ergonomic design. An efficient cooling system allows extended use under various load conditions.
The use of a transformer is what allows for so much power to be found in such a small tool. NG 2/S or NG 5/E transformers can be used.
Variable speed from 5,000 to 20,000 rpm. Four collets are provided, to accommodate bits with shanks of 1/32", 3/32", 7/64" and 1/8".
There are two high quality ball bearings in a lightweight aluminum hand piece and one ball bearing on the drive end.
The highly flexible shroud and core effortlessly transmit power without heating up even when bent tightly.
Operates at speeds up to 25,000 rpm.
Anti-kink springs at both the grip and drive ends.
The suction cup allows rapid attachment to any smooth surface.
The holder may also be screwed down.
The ball joint may be swivelled in any direction.
The 1 11/32" bore accepts all Proxxon machines, either directly or via the 3/4" reducing bushing. (included)
This special adapter has been developed as a separate attachment for our rotary tools, in order to reach into tight spots. The unit utilizes the standard 3/4" collar and comes with an adapter and a 3/32" collet.
(Works only with Rotary Tools 50 and 50/E. Does not work with Flexishaft 110/P.)
For routing, shaping, hollowing, grooving, profiling, slotting and making tapered holes.
These Proxxon Tungsten milling bits deliver optimum lifetime to the bits. They are excellent for technical work on extremely hard materials: chrome-cobalt alloy, steel, non-ferrous metals, plastics. They may be used for detail carving, engraving and routing in wood, fiberglass, plastic and non-ferrous metals as well as for engraving, and milling circuit boards. Shanks are 3/32".
